manjax / 5Sun 24th Jan at 17:13Had occasion to visit unexpectedly and arrived only just before the restaurant was due to close on a Sunday. Despite this, the service was faultless. The food was delicious - all home made - piping hot and the portions were extremely generous. The drinks were served at the right temperature and the glasses were clean. Toilets somewhat olde worlde but clean and well-maintained. Thoroughly recommend a visit to this pub
