Total Fitness has heaps of equipment, as well as running track and constant swimming pool. On the downside, it lacks atmosphere if you want to go to chill too.

Welsh Back Squash & Health Club
A club for people and not poseurs
Thi title of this review tells you how this club describes itself and it really is their ethos. It is refreshing to visit a gym where the people are people and not all models. I have a few more lumps, bumps and (lets face it) fat bits than I might ideally want and no-one sneers at Welsh Back - it is OK not to be perfect. Good classes, very good squash courts if that is your thing, good aerobic gym and also a free weights area and with genuinely helpful and pleasant gym staff. There is a bar and seating area, too. Good, central location in Bristol, but no parking.

The little extras used to make this club good value. No more free morning paper,oranges or cups for water. Would go elsewhere if nearer to work/home.

Very good facilities and helpful staff. Has never been too busy when I've been but there are a lot of similar Health Clubs around which are much better value.
