Really welcoming
Lovely people, great food, lots of parking, nice rooms couldn't ask for more really :)
Pleasant, friendly and good food
Nice ambience, right by the river, friendly staff, good food. Can get busy especially in the summer. Table reservation recommended at peak times

Brittania hotel
Nice staff, 5-10 min walk from south quay dlr station. Room pleasant enough with view over the quay, large but missing an iron and board which was provide on request. Mattress rather thin but comfy enough. Shop opposite.
Very Poor
Sunday Roast was very poor.
Two bits of Roast beef three small roast potatoes and some Carrots and one piece of broccoli.
Have had better in a road side cafe.
Delightful!
Wonderful, peaceful gym and spa, well worth the membership! The rooms are lovely and people are still talking about the amazing food served at my daughter's wedding a year ago. MPW is well worth a visit too!
Don't follow the map!
The delightful Doubletree is actually near Hoole roundabout, the other side of the A41. See the other listing.
Great
Cannot fault anything. Accomodation, Food, Ale all fabulous, scenery stupendous. A fantastic place to spend a night, weekend or even a week! If you like walking your right on the coastal path. Highly recommended.
Great Place to stay
Cults hotel is very popular and full for dinner most weekend nights. The refurbishments are a success and there is a welcoming atmosphere. The food is reasonably priced and good quality - good portions and well presented. Good beers and a reasonable choice of single malts. The public bar is ok - good for the football but somehow doesn't work as well as it should - a pool table means there is limited comfortable seating in this small area. It is not obvious that there are some good beers available from the nearby lounge like deuchars and Ossian which can be ordered if you know - perhaps some false taps would signal their availability. Beers served up well. Curious why it does not list as a pub in this database. Keep delivering and work on improving. One gripe- why not clear the litter around the immediate area and improve the ambience. This is not the hotel's fault (nor responsibility) but they could take the lead in improving the area from the car park to the den and in the quadrant bush area. Overall - a good quality suburban hotel - the rooms are very comfortable and well presented. Reasonable prices. An asset for Cults.
Stay away
Went for a family meal here, service was slow and in general poor. Rolls that came with first course were still frozen in the middle, found a hair in the main course, threw up on way home. Stay well clear of this restaurant.
Excellent food
The award they received speaks the food that is on offer, excellent.
Poor (very poor)
Cheap but not very nice, worth spending more somewhere else.
