Admin terrors

Opticians good, unfortunately their admin staff are completely useless.

Slow slow slow

Service was slow and disorganised and I will never go back. Three weeks wait for standard single vision lenses 2/10

Rubbish

When it was just D&A yeah it was a great opticians but since it has merged with boots I was left waiting for 45 minutes after my appointment time then when I actually got to see an optician I was there for what felt like 5 minutes then I just got told to choose some new glasses once I had made my choice I then had to wait another 20 minutes for somebody to put all the information in the system. I won't even start on the booking an appointment process just trust me don't believe anything they say online or on the phone I won't be going back a very bad experience for me.

First Class Service

First visit was this week and I was very impressed with the friendly welcoming atmosphere within the practice, the staff were extremely helpful and the service that I recieved was First Class. Highly Recommended and will certainly use for all my eycare needs. Well Done A J Hurdley

Great Optician!

I've been going there for 10 years and I wouldn't go anywhere else. They're very helpful - prices are good too!

Once again you can't beat the small optician for service and help.

Aftersales Rubbish

My Mum had an eyetest here and bought glasses. Aftersales was rubbish and it took ages to get the glasses sorted.

Very Good Quality Opticians

I booked an appointment for my Daughter (5) and myself. I found the staff to be very welcoming and the Optician was very friendly. Good eye exams for both of us, would highly recommend. Cannot comment on cost of glasses as neither of us needed them!

Collett Opticians is first class!, They give excellent customer service and really care, they are so through and spend time explaining everything and treat their customers like indidivuals and take time to explain their services and not just try to sell you glasses , they are 1st rate and easy on the eye!!! well done

Excellent knowledge & value

Wide range of bicycles available. Own on-site workshop with knowledgeable staff. Popular judging by number of people visiting each day. Car parking outside. Also sell accessories. Only reason for 4 stars is the difficulty getting through on telephone.

Do NOT use

If it were possible to give a minus rating I would. Staff are surly and more frequently seen on the check-out than in the optical section. one one order: lenses deeply scratched prior to collection then replaced then scratched again; completely wrong prescription; made to feel was entirely my fault; kept waiting for 2.5 hours. Glasses binned and went to a ¨proper¨ optician. Sight is too important to trust to non-professionals.

Amusuem of an optician!

I went here under the NHS emergency eyecare programme as no other optician in the area would see me so i was very grateful that they had no one booked in. I don't think however that anyone has passed through the doors of this optician in about 20 years! The building and the interior were very outdated and had not shown any signs of refurbshement since the 70's! Bearing that in mind the atmosphere was not very welcoming. I would not go again.
