Have eaten at the Village Massala on a number of occasions, the food is of a good standard and at a reasonable price. I am always greeted by one of the numerous staff and have received excellent service. The decor leaves a little to be desired and the room a little cold. Overall very nice.

Excellent lunch

I have been here three times, all around lunch time. The food and staff are first class. Warm welcoming feeling - excellent for lunch.

Gorgeous

We had two absolutely beautiful meals today from a good and varied menu that will suit most if not all tastes. Beautifully prepared and so tasty, the Veggie option was also first class. With first rate staff this is a restaurant with a bar, far too good to be considered a pub restaurant and we do need to go back soon to try more of the menu.

Always good

Fab Italian, small but buzzing. Only 2 sittings per night and almost always full. Free garlic pizza bread to start and complimentary limoncello to finish. Just great.

A nice clean Asian restaurant with halal meat and vegetarian dishes. You can watch the food being cooked. Not licensed, soft drinks only. Friendly staff.

What a find!

An accident forced us off the M4 and we were hungry; in another triumph for my iPhone this lovely restaurant was found and directions were precise from the motorway.

We had to order and eat quickly, since they were fully booked, but Scott looked after us well. We enjoyed an authentic French bistro meal and were sent happily on our way.

The food? Since you ask, gravadlax and avocado for the Mrs, French onion soup for me, with garlic croutons and cheese, then pink rack of lamb with sautéed potatoes, dauphinoise, lovely steamed carrots, broccoli, cabbage. Desserts...yum; creme brûlée for me, slightly disappointing summer berry pudding for her. Too bready. Good coffee rounded it off.

Next time we will ensure we can stay longer. And book in advance.

Exceptional quality food, Decebt value £64 for 3 very full adults. Only criticism would be the cost of wine (so we drank beer).
